ESPRESSO

REMOVE & CLEAN
Remove the filter handle from the espresso machine and clean thoroughly with a cloth

REST & SELECT
Place the filter handle on the grinder and select the required no. of cups

TAP & TAMP
Tap the side of the filter handle to level out the coffee then compress firmly using aluminium tamp

WIPE & PLACE
Wipe excess coffee from the rim of the filter handle and place firmly into the brewing head

SELECT
Select the number of cups required - the espresso will be brewed in approx. 25 seconds

How to make an Espresso

CAPPUCCINO

BREW
Brew an espresso as detailed above

FILL
Fill a 0.6ltr stainless steel jug with fresh cold milk, to just below spout level

STRETCH
Keeping the steam arm just below the milk surface at all times, heat the milk until the jug is hot to touch

TAP & ROTATE
Tap the jug on the counter to remove any large bubbles from the surface and rotate the jug to mix the foam and milk

POUR
This is key - remember to pour the milk on top of the espresso with the jug horizontal

How to make a Cappuccino

LATTE

BREW
Brew an espresso as detailed above

FILL
Fill a 0.6ltr stainless steel jug with fresh cold milk to just below spout level

STRETCH
Keeping the steam arm just below the milk surface at all times, heat the milk until the jug is hot to touch

TAP & ROTATE
Tap the jug on the counter to remove any large bubbles from the surface. Pour the milk into the latte glass and then spoon foamed milk on top

STIR
Pour the single espresso brewed earlier on top of the milk and gently stir before serving
